Second of all, I caught NBC's new Monday night. Its strongest show was its weakest (Heroes) and its shaky newcomers could both turn into something great.

Good first episode. I dig the Seth Cohen look-alike and his slightly annoying roommate. The hot chick was a little generic and the dramatic moments kind of fell flat. But a good start. My advice would be to just let it be straight-up comedy, without the self-serious bullshit.
Heroes
I'm still not digging this show. The "plague" is a blatant ripoff from X-Men, and the drama continues to be predictable and just plain boring. I think they should just spin off HRG into his own show and let everybody else die. I hope the cop and Mohinder both eat it.
Journeyman
Yes, he hasn't mastered an American accent. Yes, it's basically an update of Quantum Leap (except the dude stays as himself). But, I was entertained. I really didn't want to like this show (for no other reason than I don't want to watch three hours of TV) but I find myself strangely attracted to it. Hopefully, it will start sucking soon.
