New rule of the universe: when you first attempt to introduce someone to a TV show you like, that particular episode will invariably be the worst one broadcast.
Case in point - Chuck.
After a fairly entertaining pilot, the second episode just blew. And of course, I gave my wife this big setup about how cool this show has the potential of being, coming from the same dude that did the OC (one of her all-time favorite shows). Then we both proceeded to nervously chuckle through a debacle of an hour of TV. This better just be a sophomore slump, because people like me are not going to wait around for this shit to turn around.
On a side note, I never thought I'd like Journeyman better that both Chuck and Heroes, but, so far, it's the best of the three.
Oh, and Pushing Daisies? Pretty awesome. It is just me, or does the main actor remind you of a young Kevin Spacey (with hair, or course)?
