Still digging this show, even though I keep thinking every next episode will be the one that tips too far into cheese-ball whimsy. I really like Chi McBride in the series, but, then again, I like him in pretty much anything. I can't get enough of that bald smugness.
Bionic Woman 1.4
I think this show is finding a little bit of rhythm. Jaimie is finding out more about her powers and the whole double-life thing is continuing to plague her relationship with her sister and others. Sarah, on the other hand, is not developing the way I'd like. She needs to have less screen time to be as effective as she was in the first few episodes. I want to know less about her, not more. And I definitely don't want her to be an ambiguous hero. I want a straight-up, bad ass villain: the Venom to Jaimie's Spider-Man. Hopefully, the show will find the right way to balance its yin and yang.
